Hiking the Highlands of Scotland with an All-Women Group
Misty moors, heather-clad hillsides, verdant glens, and ancient castles steeped in folklore…all reasons to toss your boots in a bag this spring and hit the trails with our local hiking guides in Scotland.
This is slow travel at its best. Guided by experienced locals, you will explore the untamed hills of Glencoe and the Cairngorms during invigorating day hikes. Each evening, unwind and reflect on the day’s experiences, forging friendships and savoring Highland hospitality.
You are not roughing it. You’ll stay in lovely hotels and inns as we make our way from village to village, trekking during the day and then enjoying a hot shower at night. And yes, your luggage rides in the van so all you need to worry about is carrying your day pack.
This all-women group journey is more than a hiking trip. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in Scotland’s rich history and traditions. With a small crew of other hikers, you will learn about women-led crofts, glimpse how ancient people lived at an archaeology site, and take a loch plunge while wild swimming (followed by a steamy sauna).
