Many times I have reflected on my own decision back in 1995 to embark on my first slow travel painting experience and the wonderful life changing repercussions of that choice. I of course was excited about traveling to Provence, France and anticipated learning new things concerning my chosen media of watercolor.

What I did not anticipate was the clear and pervasive path of my life that originated with that decision to travel on my own with a group of strangers to a foreign land to paint outside for two weeks.
